THE GUY WHO DIDN'T LIKE MUSICALS
The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, is a horror-comedy that pays homage to the creature-features of the ’50s and ’60s and will have you laughing, screaming and crying.

People blatantly stating their innermost wants and desires in verse. Music inexplicably playing from out of nowhere. Random people performing impossibly choreographed dances. All perfectly normal on stage; *all absolutely horrifying in real life.*
FRIDAY 18TH & SATURDAY 19TH JULY 2025
Following a sell-out production of American Idiot in 2023, Butter Side Up Theatre Company returns to the The Leadmill with the Sheffield Debut of
THE GUY WHO DIDN'T LIKE MUSICALS.

From the creative team who wrote A Very Potter Musical and Twisted, this StarKid Musical took the internet by storm and is guaranteed to do the same with a Yorkshire audience, combining comedy, horror, and the unnatural phenomenon of people bursting into song.

Whether you're a fan of musicals or distrust them and their harmonising ways, you'll see yourself in the characters who are trying to survive in this camp and toe-tapping dystopia.
